Comments on: Palm Announces Expanded Treo Pro Availability
Treo Pro, is listed as now being available through tech product distributor giants D&H, Ingram Micro, and Tech Data according to the company's latest Channelsource newsletter. The Pro's SRP is still indicated as the launch price of $549, so the price drop some had speculated was imminent (myself included) is not happening for the foreseeable future.
Palm has also just announced that the Treo Pro is now available in Latin America from carriers in seven countries.

RE: Do 'available' mean 'sold by' or 'sold via'?
Maybe Palm's going to announce a formal SRP drop soon and we'll be able to stroll into a BB soon and pick up an unlocked Treo Pro for $450ish and AT&T will then follow suit with a subsidized $200 Pro?
T-Mobile has not officially carried any Palm device since the Treo 600. They've been the only domestic carrier to pass on the 650 as well as the Centro (not to mention the GSM-exclusive 680).

Do 'available' mean 'sold by' or 'sold via'?
So are the Big Guys actually buying massive amounts of Treo Pros from Palm and reselling them or are they pulling a T-Mobile?
