Or want to start one but you don't have the time to sit down at a PC to write? There are a number of applications available so you can access your content management system software from your handheld and blog wirelessly from your PDA...

True true, but there aren't any PalmCasting applications out there for me to write about yet! Totally a developer opportunity... create something to read RSS feeds and push mp3 enclosures to a memory card.
I use b2evolution. Is Vagablog truly the only one that will work with this? Anyone have any experience with any others that will work w/ b2?

Hello, Purchasing some software in order to blog is kinda silly IMHO. I've had a Blogger account for some time now and you can set up your account to receive a "Blog" by email. I've been doing this since July and it works great. Money spent = 0$. View the blog at: http://www.millcreekjournals.com. Almost all of the entries submitted were by email and written using WordSmith. Nuff said... RE: PDA Blogging
that's a great option. Anyone know if movable type supports emailing a draft or anything? Maybe there is a plugin for it... -Ryan RE: PDA Blogging
a quick google search (http://tinyurl.com/66h9x) brought up these: Pop2blog which is perl based. A Python one is here: http://alevin.com/weblog/archives/000764.html RE: PDA Bloggingskennedy1217 @ 11/17/2004 8:31:55 PM #
It seems like these do a bit more than the Blogger email feature, which I have had problems with on my blogs. For starters, you have to send plain text emails instead of rich text or html, unless the blog's CSS font settings are the same as in your email (i.e., CSS conflicts). Also, many free email and corporate email accounts tack on advertisements or confidentiality stamps to the end of the email, which end up as part of the post. I like that a couple of these allow you to edit posts, plus can handle uploading photos for embedding in the blog post. RE: PDA Blogging
thanks, pop2blog should be awesome if I can get it configured. Looks like it does exactly what I wanted, which is autoposting a photo from an email attachment.
