LMAO, my thoughts exactly. That seems like it would be pocket change, for both companies. Peace Out Alan RE: DinosaursSeldomVisitor @ 12/13/2004 5:29:31 PM #
I think it is quite fitting that one dinosaur should buy another dinosaur's extinct product, the TREO 600! RE: Dinosaurs
You're a little late in the game with that comment SeldomVisitor. Here's a door prize, and please try again. Bob RE: DinosaursSeldomVisitor @ 12/14/2004 6:28:00 PM #
How so? The Treo 600 is dead - you know that, right? RE: DinosaursSeldomVisitor @ 12/16/2004 6:36:47 PM #
Looks like SGI was about the only place that bought TREOs. PalmOne just reported "earnings" and noted they have about ==21== weeks of inventory of TREOs "in the channel" (*). 21 weeks of inventory. YIKES! ------ (*) That is, PalmOne "sold" a boatload of TREOs to SOMEONE who STILL has about 21 weeks of constant selling to clear out inventory. Kinda defines what "constant selling" means for TREOs, eh? Not surprising when ya consider WHAT they're TRYING to sell - a $500+ cellphone with a few extra features. RE: Dinosaurs
Here comes the PAIN: Palmone Inc (NASDAQ NM:PLMO)
That's what businesses want out of their employees--I'm expecting Silicon Graphics to deploy Treo 600 without camera to their employees.
