Simply visit the URL: http://m.youtube.com/ with the Blazer web browser.

I tried it on my TX and although I can see the web pages, when I click on the "watch video" link, I get a "browser error" message - "this link is not supported (0x1511)". Am i doing something wrong? The iPhones can access videos on YouTube, why can't the Palms do it too?

I believe the Palm TX and Treo 650 do not have the required streaming media capabilities built in.

The latest version of Kinoma Player, should set you up for that:

Thanks for the quick reply, Ryan. There's no trial download for the Kinoma player. It's a bit risky spending $25 and not even knowing if it'll work.

I'm fairly certain you will require the Kinoma Player to do it on the TX as it didn't have any embedded streaming media functionality in its version of Blazer.

I just gave it a shot with the "crippled" embedded version of Kinoma (circa 2006) 1.03 on my 700p and it worked flawlessly. So I am certain that the full version of Kinoma would easily handle it. Charles & the gang at Kinoma have a fantastic track record for supporting their products & their users. More so than any other "big name but overpriced" Palm OS app, I'd feel safe buying a Kinoma registration sans trial versio, even over CorePlayer, PTunes, Docs To Go etc.

Tried it on my TX using the latest version of Kinoma Player. Kinoma reports "audio not supported". Video OK - no audio.

Thanks for saving me some money and aggravation - it's ridiculous that they don't offer a trial version to see if it'll work on a device.

It does not work *at all* on a TX (or any other Palm handheld) without Kinoma installed. WITH Kinoma installed, according to eke above, it plays video but no video. What a huge bummer. Let's hop Kinoma can address this and get the TX users on track ASAP.

Looks tres` cool. Almost makes me want a WinMob phone. I hate proxies though. Opera Mini can be dreadfully slow sometimes. Hopefully this won't be the same.
