MobileBM? They might want to rethink that name... :)

MobileBMs can be the most embarrassing.

I understand that the developers just renamed their company, for obvious reasons. They're now called MobileBS. ;-)

Cool sounding game, though.

On the note made be the first poster, it's kind of cool that a Palm OS app that was actually written and compiled in C *on* a Palm OS device using OnBoardC was used by NASA scientists to aid in their work with various Mars lander missions.

Oh, I don't know. There's a lot of potential in a name like that for great marketing slogans. Like...

"Stay on the go, while you go"

or...

"Sh1t and get off the pot at the same time, with MobileBM"

Still, could be worse. The name could have been something more sinister like MobileVD. Oi!

Hi guys!

yes Ok you win!!!!!!! I changed the name to "SimTogo" since I am mostly interested in develloping simulator games on Palm/Treo devices. by the way in the next version of LEM Simulator 1.1 (soon), you will be able to land on any planet of our solar system (Jupiter anyone?) and set up your own initial conditions like starting altitude, fuel level and so on.

Thanks and happy landing to all who downloaded the game!

Mo.

Hi guys!

I am was craking up when I hear your comments and had to respond! Yes I realize that MobileBM is very embarrasing name. I want it to call my "company" MobileFun but of course it was already taken. Since I had to put something in the "company" name I put that!!!! Time to rethink that. In any event, I am just new at develloping app for Palm and LEM Simulator is my first app. I hope you guys get a chance to download it and take it for a spin. Let me know what you think. yes I have a Treo 650 and a Tungsten C and I think both devices are probably more powerfull than all 1960's NASA computers combined. While develloping this game, I read a lot Apollo technical documents and I am still amazed on how we made it to the moon safely almost 40 years ago!

Anyway thanks for the tip about MobileBM and happy landing!

Mo.
