The SD slots on the inside of the Palm hard case will hold the SDIO card. It sticks out of the nominal slot cutout, but that doesn't cause any problem. The same might be true of other cases.

twrock has put together another good case review. This time he takes a look at the Boxwave Armor Case for the Palm TX and Tungsten T5 handhelds. Ron was looking for a more "form-fitting" case for his TX and decided to test out this version from Boxwave. Read on for the full review.
Has anyone come across a case for the T3 with an SD holder that will accomodate the Palm SDIO WiFi card which is a bit longer than the standard SD card????
