 Tested on the 700p, eh?
SeldomVisitor @ 5/19/2006 4:57:49 PM #

my mistake, not sure if it is confirmed working, I will try but I dont see why it would not work.

Er...NOT tested on the 700p, eh?
SeldomVisitor @ 5/19/2006 6:03:04 PM #

I, of course, retract this entire thread since the article has been editted to remove the company's (not PalmInfocenter's (?)) reference to having tested the software on a 700p. Kinda makes this thread look weird to doubt something that a company didn;t say!

Yeah and the incredible thing is the flash demo says that it is works with the T5 and the TX.
I guess with they forgot to mention you need to mod these with a Mic?

RE: TX
Could you use the Softick Audio Gateway and a set of BT headphones (usually have a mic built in) to connect with this SW? Anyone tried the Softick with BT headphones on the TX?

palmdoc88 @ 5/20/2006 3:18:14 AM #

I installed it on my Treo650 weith Internet connection running over Bluetooth to my Home broadband.
Launched the app, saw a message at the top saying "connecting to server" but nothing happened.
Then tried Demo call and Bandwidth test but it did not work for me....

No trial no sale.
Skype is popular because it has a totally free component: Skype to Skype.
Maybe they should re-think their business model?

I see why you're looking for a voice solution, over text based ones.
