Comments on: Pocket Tunes Deluxe Update Available

Normsoft has quietly released an updated version of Pocket Tunes Deluxe, bringing this app up to version 4.02. The return of screen blanking on Tapwave Zodiac features is the main addition in this update. Previously it had been unavailable in all earlier 4.x versions.

Also newly added is MTP communication capabilities with Windows Media Player 11. MTP is a proprietary Microsoft protocol, commonly found on products like the Creative Zen line. MTP is akin to UMS for portable media devices but somewhat more restrictive and limited only to Windows XP and Vista-based machines, so users of WMP 11 under XP and all Vista users may appreciate this addition.

Version 4.02 can be downloaded here or from within the app using its integrated auto-update feature.
