Otter Products has released the OtterBox 1921 Treo case, a rugged, polycarbonate case that protects Palm Treo 680, 750 and 755p series smartphones from water, dust, dirt and drops. The casing completely seals the device from the elements while providing access to the full keypad, touch screen, volume and program buttons.

Out in the country there is an expression "They are real proud of (whatever). In Yankee English that means its over priced. I don't expect them to give it away but $129.95US for the box and an additional $29.95 for the belt clip?

On Topic: My brother runs a rafting service on the Occoee. If he had a Treo the Otterbox would be a necessity. Still, I see other boxes for $20-$30 bucks. I think the Otter Company figures it can "soak" the rich boys with their expensive Treos.

Seems to me like a fair amount of engineering went into the box, and it's not like they're going to sell lebenty-million of them.

Priced too high? Don't buy it. Pretty simple...
