View 360° Scenes on your Color Palm

PixAround's PixScreen PDA Lite is a free Palm app that lets users view color 360° panorama pictures that have been created with the company's free PixMaker Lite desktop application. PixMaker Lite does not require images to be taken using expensive professional equipment such as fisheye lens or a tripod stand. You can snap your pictures using any camera and stitch and publish them into PixAround Scenes. A full version of PixMaker costs $20 for home users and $350 for the pro version.

PixScreen PDA Lite requires a color Palm and OS 3.5. PixMaker Lite accepts images in Bitmap, JPEG or Photo CD formats, saves images in JPEG format, and works only with 24-bit Windows Bitmaps. Maximum resolution per image : 800 x 600 pixels. It works only on MS Windows 95/98/2000/NT 4.0.

There is also a version of PixScreen PDA Lite for the Pocket PC.

Hi,

To create the 360-degree image for viewing on your Palm, you need PixMaker 1.0 and not PixMaker Lite. The Home Edition is available for US$19.95 and the Business Edition is available for US$349.00.
