Charge Palm V Series with 9-Volt Battery

iBIZ Technology has released the iBIZ 9-Volt Pocket Charger for the Palm V series, which allows the user to connect a standard 9-volt battery directly to a Palm V to rapidly power, or charge, the device. The new charger will soon be available at all CompUSA's. The MSRP is $15.

The iBIZ Pocket Charger rapidly charges to 45% in just a few minutes, and will supply about 85% in under an hour. The special charging circuitry prevents over charging, reverse polarity and discharging.

$15 at CompUSA, huh?

$15 at CompUSA, huh? I'll believe it when I see it. Last time I bought anything at CompUSA for $15, it was a mouse pad! I mean, even a generic cable is apt to be at least $20.

Not this exact model but a small company called Tech Center Labs offers emergency chargers for the IIIc and for the V series and the Prism. The IIIc version costs $25.
