Quickies: m500 in Canada, m500 Handbooks, Fonts, Fax

Futureshop, a Canadian webstore, is taking pre-orders for the m500 series. The m500 is $630 and the m505 is $700 and they give an estimated release date of May 1. -Darius

Palm has posted the handbooks for both the m500 and m505 on their support pages. Look in the lower right hand corner of the page. -Ed

Many new users might be unaware that it is possible to change fonts on the Palm with a hack. Cool Fonts 1.5 is a just-released freeware collection of 25 replacement fonts. -Ed

Fax for Palm OS allows users to send a fax directly from a handheld. It handles the insertion of bitmap drawings from DOODLE documents or BMP resources and has an editable Header and Footer. It is currently in public beta and will cost $30. -Ed

I wonder if the canadian "colour" model is any better than the american "color" model!

It's the same thing, they wouldn't make two different versions of the same model. If any, they would make a different ver. for Europe but come on, not Canada
