Quickies: PiDirect, Visor Cables, Canada

Portable Innovation Technology is working on a version of PiDirect that works on handhelds that use VFS, not just on Visors equiped with a MemPlug.

Purple Data Cables now has RS232 compliant data cables that allow Visor handhelds to interface with just about any type of mobile device with a serial port (cell phones, GPS, modems, laptops, etc.)

Handspring has announced a distribution agreement with Merisel Canada, a leading distributor of technology products, to bring the full line of Visor handhelds and Springboard modules into the Canadian enterprise distribution channel

Who doesn't want to get into the VFS game. Enough with the Me Too products, let's see some real innovation!

Well, enough of the hacks to run old apps out of expansion memory. These old apps and new ones need to start being updated to properly work with VFS instead.
