Quickies: Type 'N Go, Gassee, PDAi

CompUSA has the Type 'N Go for the m500 series mini keyboard and hardcase available for $40 after a $20 instant rebate and a $20 manufacturer rebate. Valid until January 5. (Look for a Rob Zach review of this soon. -Ed) -Rob

Jean-Louis Gassee has resigned as Be Inc. CEO, according to Cnet. "This is the normal progression of events in a company that is winding down and dissolving,'' he said. -Ed

PDAi is a small organization of dedicated PDA users created in July of 2001. It has been working to lay groundwork to create a PDA informational hub, similar to SourceForge. The first project of the group is a IRC network dedicated to and run by PDA users. This project will open its doors to the public officially on Jan. 12. They would like anyone who would like to sponsor this event (developers, etc) to contact them as soon as possible to work out an arrangement. A detailed post will be given in a weeks time concerning server location and more. -Pendalar

That keyboard is a piece of junk. No wonder they're practically giving it away.

I have a Type and Go and I agree that it is a junk. I don't think I will even consider by for my new M505.
