Any performance comparisons for SD cards?

I.M. Anonymous @ 8/12/2002 9:18:32 AM #
Are there any reviews with performance comparisons of the different makes/models of SD cards? I assume they are mostly made by a very few manufacturers. Yeah, I know it'd make little difference on current Palms, but I'd pay a few extra bucks for a better card.

a lot of memory cards are rebranded, so what?
RE: Fry's has 128Mb for $55, get lexar

Even if lexar has a corny transparent color i regret getting the sandisk coz its just now that i realized how imp the LED lights are when reading or writing. My card reader doesnt have lights and im risking file corruption if i accidentally remove it while its still writing.

128 MB MMC Card

128 MMC cards are out now. This bodes well for driving the price of SD/MMC to a point below Memorystick (if not Compactflash and the moribund Smartmedia).
