PalmSource Announces Developer Conference

PalmSource has announced a series of developer seminars throughout the world as well as the date and location of the major PalmSource conference.

PalmSource has announced a series of developer seminars for this year in thier latest dev newsletter. PalmSource will hold three developer conferences, one in the San Francisco Bay Area, anther in China and an additional European conference. The dates and locations are:

  • San Francisco Bay Area, May 6-7
  • Beijing, China, June 2-3
  • Europe, Location and Dates TBD (Target September)

The major PalmSource Developer Conference will take place in Santa Clara, California, on December 9th, 10th and 11th, 2003. PalmSource will release more details about the events will be posted to the PalmSource website "soon".

 Is this in anticipation of OS 6?

The dates of the conferences in May and June happen to be close to when PalmSource is anticipated to release the next OS. Could these conferences be to update as well as shore up developer support in anticipation of OS 6?
