PalmSource to Exhibit at LinuxWorld Boston
PalmSource will be be exhibiting at the upcoming LinuxWorld Boston conference. The LinuxWorld Conference & Expo is taking place April 3-6, 2006 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
Others exhibiting at the conference include other influential and innovative companies in the Linux and open source marketplace, including Coverity, IBM, Intel, Novell, Oracle, PalmSource, Red Hat and Unisys. Keynote speakers will include Nicholas Negroponte, Chairman, One Laptop per Child (OLPC); Bob Gatewood, CTO, athenahealth; Kevin Kettler, PhD, CTO, Dell Inc.; Larry Augustin, Chairman, VA Software; and Bill Hilf, Director of Platform Technology Strategy, Microsoft Corporation.
Reflecting the growing momentum of the mobile Linux market, IDG World Expo has added a conference track that focuses on Mobile and Embedded Linux to April's LinuxWorld Conference & Expo, sponsored by PalmSource. The show floor will also feature a Mobile Linux Pavilion where companies in the mobile Linux market will be showcasing the latest advancements in the use of Linux in mobile devices, such as wireless handhelds and mobile phones. Current exhibitors in the Pavilion include PalmSource, Open Source Development Labs (OSDL) and the Linux Phone Standards (LiPS) Forum.
"LinuxWorld will once again bring together the industry's most powerful and pioneering players to demonstrate and educate organizations about driving their businesses forward using open source technology," said David Korse, president & CEO, IDG World Expo.
