Smaller.com has a good
article for all the pocket musicians out there. They review 3 apps to get your palm singing: MiniMusic, PocketSynth, and ToMup. My personal favorite sound/guitar program is
PalmChord which features a chord reference and a crude tuning utility. It even plays chord possibilities for you.

There are a number of different ways you can get the latest news from the Palm Infocenter. The easiest way to take the site with you is via our
AvantGo channel or with the
SiteScooper palm app.
You can also get our news on
GeekBoys.org or with the
NewsClipper. And it appears that my email address for
Palm Graveyard submissions has been bouncing back, so if you tried to send one in try resending it
here.

C|Net has an
article on some new CE devices expected, but as usual it focuses on the problems facing the "Windows Powered" camp. No new features or products are mentioned in detail, the focus is given to the
suit filed against HP, Philips and others over audio technology and the latest desertions of CE.

MSNBC has an
article on Beaming. They equate it to the new geek handshake. The article discusses the rising popularity of Palm computers and how beaming allows quick and easy information exchange. They also mention the
Palm TV commercial where a woman beams out her phone number to another fellow with a Palm.

PayPal has gone live today with their software for Palm devices. You can now zap virtual cash to other users, or email it to those poor unfortunates without a Palm. The money the money can be linked to your credit card or bank account. Your friend can retrieve the money by direct deposit or check mailed from PayPal. Interesting concept, I wonder if it will catch on. Here's an
article on the free service for further reading.
