Sony's Palm: Wireless video, audio and net...?

AsiaBizTech posted an interview with Palm's VP, Marc Bercow. They ask some interesting questions and they refer to Palm devices as terminals. Bercow mentions that Sony is working on a wireless "entertainment" device that will feature video, audio and the Internet content intended to penetrate the younger generation, a gameboy killer perhaps?. He also talks about Palm wireless Data and voice convergence, something I think is long overdue.

Sony's Palm

I'm really excited by the announcement by Sony. Sony understands consumers and has the design capability to introduce some really hot products.

I also agree that a general-purpose wireless connection for the Palm is long overdue. I think a BlueTooth interface would be really cool. Anyone know of a company doing this for the Visor?

Bluetooth for the Visor has been announced by http://www.widcomm.com" CLASS=NEWS>http://www.widcomm.com - but it doesn't look like they will arrive until Q2 2000. Meanwhile a few Compactflash Bluetooth adapters are being developed, so the TRGpro might make it there first...
