New Wireless Web Optimizing Service
Greenlight Wireless Corporation today announced the release of Skweezer 2.0, the latest version of its wireless Web browsing application for PDA and smartphone users. The service optimizes web content for wireless handheld devices.
Skweezer 2.0 includes a host of new features, most notably the ability to work on cell phones with xHTML browsers, such as the latest Nokia, Ericsson & Motorola handsets. Skweezer has also been updated for use on Palm OS Garnet and Cobalt devices. Skweezer?s Web content compression process has been significantly improved, translating into lower wireless data service charges and faster content delivery. Skweezer 2.0 also has a new and more streamlined user interface, the ability to import favorites from a desktop computer, and integrated access to Plaxo contacts.
Skweezer now accommodates its growing following in Europe and South America by providing an application interface and user guide in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish languages. Access to non-English Web content, such as sites that use Cyrillic and other non-Western character sets, has also been greatly improved.
Skweezer 2.0 can be purchased for USD$14.99, which includes a no-obligation 30-day trial period and a full year of service.
