It offers all of the most essential capabilities, including email, web browsing and personal organizing, in a slick, easy-to-use and reliable handset with a full QWERTY keyboard. This is the business person's phone."

Luis Ezcurra, marketing and market development managing director of Telefonica Moviles Espana, said, "Our main objective with this launch is to satisfy the communications needs of a large number of high-value customers in all segments. The Treo 650 is an excellent opportunity for our customers to have PDA and mobile phone features in a single device."

I am just curious--Is this report based on the CDMA Treo 650 or the GSM Treo 650?

I want to know if Spain's going to get CDMA or GSM--it is utmost important to state out the protocol which Spain is going to get the Treo 650 on.

All I know is that Asia's more supportive of CDMA, Europe is supportive of GSM, and United States of America is kind of mixed as far as Cell Phone Protocols are concerned.

At last! With Vodafone selling the Treo 600 as 'the ultimate product from p1' and both carriers embracing PPC's and especially Blackberries, I feared that the 650 would never make it to Spain...
