Wacky Dancing

Yeah that game was lame but its a copy of a very popular arcade game in SE asia. In the arcade game there are two variants. One where you play drums in accordance with the "arrows" and another where you use hand and feet motion (its dancing really). I think its a copy of the latter. Just FYI.

The dancing game is called "Dance Dance Revolution", and it is very, very popular in Japan, and getting that way on the US west coast. On the Palm, I couldn't see this working too well, at least not without a Beat Plus or MP3 playing peripheral.

That dancing game has been in every big video game parlor (D&B etc) I've been in on the East Coast for months.

The boxing one is also a copy of one where the game senses where your real fists are. It is alot of fun though very tiring if you aren't in shape. I can see the palm version being a pale imitation.

Yup, Dance Dance Revolution is very popular here in SE Asia, among a slew of other music games (drums, guitar, DJ, etc.).

All I can say about the Palm game is: They could have done much, much better. For starters, it's actually possible to create decent one-tone-at-a-time music on the Palm's "beeper". An example would be the ringtones in mobile phones. Second, I don't think they should have modeled the game after Dance Dance Revolution. The game called "Beat Mania" could have been more appropriate. But of course, they should retain the dancing babe. :P

Can the games be installed individually?

One of the review cons was the space the games take up. Is each game a separate PRC file that can be installed on its own, or is it a combo system?
