The ActiveSky Media Player for Palm allows you to play short films on your Palm. The player is now a free download until July 31 and content is available from several different companies, including AtomFilms and Undergroundfilm. The films are in a special format (.sky) and range in size from 200 K to about 8 MB. The player works on both color and black & white Palms. Thanks to Scott Laurent for pointing this out.

Problem is, there isn't any content for the PalmOS player yet. All I could find were PukingPC downloads. Does it even come with a demo movie? RE: where's the beef?ed@palminfocenter.com @ 6/30/2000 9:11:57 AM #
ActiveSky isn't a content provider; all they make is the player. But there are lots of links to sites that do provide movies on their content page: http://www.activesky.com/prod_content.html" CLASS=NEWS TARGET=_NEW>http://www.activesky.com/prod_content.html RE: where's the beef?I.M. I download it with some short movie, but discovered that it is nothing to shout about. Not that interesting to watch it without sound. wasting my MB.
