HandSpring Starts Sales Affiliate Program

Posted By: Ed on Wednesday, August 09, 2000 9:25:07 AM

HandSpring has borrowed an idea from the online bookstores and has started a sales affilliate program. Through the program, affiliates can earn money every time a Handspring product is bought based on a referral from their site. As a special launch promotion, charter affiliates will receive a 10% referral fee for new customers and a 5% referral fee for repeat customers through December 31, 2000. After that time, all affiliates will receive an 8% referral fee on each new sale and a 5% referral fee on repeat sales.

To join, just sign up and you'll be given a specially tracked link from your site to the Handspring one. Best of all, it's free.

All products sold on Handspring.com are eligible for referral fees, including Visor handhelds and Handspring Springboard modules. Please note, however, that third-party Springboard modules featured on the site but sold at PalmGear are not eligible for earning referral fees. If at the end of your first calendar quarter you have generated $100 or more in referral fees, you will receive a check in the mail. If your referral fee is lower, the amount will be carried over to the next quarter.

I don't read King in any form, but I have been reading books on my visor. I am looking for Tolkien, Hobbit, and The Lord...Trilogy. Anyone know where I can find them?

Thanks,

Chris
