MuBu Suggests New Music Wirelessly

Posted By: Ed on Saturday, September 23, 2000 5:38:48 PM

Music Buddha (MuBu) is an online service that, based on your taste, can recommend new music to you. They just released a PQA so you can get recommendations anywhere you are, like the CD store. Its free but you have to sign up to save your profile or use the PQA.

Here's how it works. Go to their site and choose from a large number of music categories like College Radio, Jazz, Hip Hop, or Country. You then rate a series of song clips, click on a Buddha that says ''Enlighten Me,'' and the system recommends albums. You can listen to clips from the recommended albums to decide if you want to buy them.

You can save your profile and then access it later to get the latest recommendations from your Palm VII with their PQA.
