NPUG To Host Chat With Coola President

On Thursday, Sudha Jamthe, president of Coola will be the featured guest speaker on NPUG's bi-weekly chat. Drop by the chat this week for feedback from one of the industry leaders in mobile information. Don't have mIRC? No problem, just stop by the NPUG chat page and enter the chat as a guest. It is October 19 from 7 pm to 9 pm Central Time.

The Nashville Palm User Group hosts an informal meeting for NPUG members, and anyone else who wants to talk, on openprojects.net, in the channel #npug, twice a month from 7 pm to 9 pm CST/CDT.

Not on normal IRC...

I gave the connection a try using the mIRC client. After getting a server error with "openprojects.net" I tried irc.openprojects.net which worked... except that I get a "ERROR All connections in use" repeatedly. It looks like people will have to connect through the NPUG chat page instead of normal IRC. That's ok by me, though, as I tend to chat on another IRC server. This way, I can have my normal chat channels open while chatting with Su and you all tonight. :)

hehe, eat my own words...
I just got connected to irc.openprojects.net through mIRC. I'll probably still use the NPUG chat room to connect to this chat, though. :)

This is the same IRC server that #palmchat is on. Thanks for posting about the difficulty. If anyone has problems connecting, try our java client that is on our web site.
