Site Updates
Apple Palm Phone? The MSPUG has changed it's name! We are no longer the Minneapolis/St Paul Palm User Group. We are now the Twin Cities Palm User Group! TCPUG for short. Our first meeting was help last Saturday, October 21st. A big thanks to Orion Consulting for allowing us to use a room in their building. Thanks to Jorge Rimblas of Orion for setting this up for us as well. We had introductions, a little show and tell of Palms and Palm accessories, give-aways and more! It was a great start to our group! Our members decided that Twin Cities Palm User Group was a better name, so we've changed it to reflect what are members want. We also took questions and comments on our next meeting. It was decided to try out a meeting on a week night to see how people like that rather than meeting on a weekend. Tentatively, our next meeting will be on: November 15th at 6:30 p.m. More will follow with a formal announcement once this has been finalized. We're also hoping to have a special guest. Our website and e-mail address has changed as well. The new website is at: http://www.interpug.com/tcpug and the new e-mail address is: tcpug@interpug.com Look for a info soon to come on our November meeting! This is clearly one of the many sites where people post their suggested designs for computer hardware. I've never seen one with a lot of basis in reality. I do like this design: http://www.applele.com/hipalm_r2a.html though I'm aware that, in real life, it would be about 1.5 inches thick, which is much too big. --- Plenipotentiary Palm Infocenter RE: hiPalm? It's obviously a Japanese Clie photo mocked up. Apple have unfortunately lost all the real power, passion and drive to create compelling devices - so I don't think we'll ever see anything cool from them again... :-(
