V-Rally World Championship Racing Released

Palmtop has announced the release of V-Rally, the 3D car racing game in colour for the Palm. You can race on 20 original tracks and various terrains and choose from 4 Official World Rally Championship Cars. It requires about 390k to run the grayscale version and about 880k for the colour version. V-Rally is now available for $30. There is a free limited demo version available, too.

Wow 490K more for color. The Palm and Visor have such litte mem. I think I will stick with my Visor Deluxe.

It's finding a place on my Palm IIIc. I've played the demo to death...Now, I must have.
It's a great way to show off the Palm's abilities.

I really don't want to pay 30.00 for a game but it's really tempting. The other thing is I tend to stay so close being out of memory on my IIIc. Its not funny the other day I had to dump stuff because I could run zap got a message that the I didn't have enough free memory to launch the graphics (330k free at the time).
On the other hand I could dump the kids pictures from album to go. Hey, it's not like I don't see them on a daily basis in person. Hmm games or kids pictures.

huh?

Your going to stick with a monochrome unit because a game requires additional memory for color? 800k isnt a whole lot on an 8 meg machine. In addition, how good could a racing game on a palm be? The screenshot looks like something from 1983 on an Apple II.
