Refurbs should have lower prices!

At $180 the IIIXE refurb is only $20 away from a new one at $200 - I'd say to make it worthwhile to buy a refurb unit they need to put the price down to $150 at least!

Free software pages?

Does anyone know of any sites that specialize in Free software for Palms? There used to be the great http://palm.eisenbach.com/ site, but that seems to have gone away :(.. Really, I think a Palm freeware site would be a great resource.

If you would like to assist me in getting the sites to join, the "FREE Palm Software" WebRing would be a great place to start. I would also set up a site (a new domain) exclusivly for FREE Palm apps if the need/desire was there. Any ideas. Post here or email me directly please.

Anyone else with any ideas let me know. I just love my Palm and it's capabilities. I would love to do such a project. Get some folks to sign up for the WebRing please and I believe we can make a great place for all of us to enjoy. I will also add all links to the PDA Controls.com site. It has been receiving a tremendous amount of hits and I believe it would be a great place to start..... Look forward to the ideas..... Have a great day! Drew rossman

Freewarepalm.com is littered with a kajillion blinky ads.

I'm wondering if anyone knows if the refurbed Palm III has the improved IIIx/IIIxe style display, or if it comes with the same crappy old-school style one.
