This week will be long remembered not for anything to do with handhelds but for the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. There is a good conversation thread about this in the Forums, too. But what the terrorists want is to disrupt our way of life so one of the best things we can do is carry on. Details on the Handspring Visor Pro and Neo were announced, while Sony had a busy week, including demoing some new prototype Memory Stick I/O peripherals, they made their first official mention of a Palm OS 4.1 upgrade, they released details on the MP3 player, and even announced the N750C for the Japanese market. Interesting new applications announced last week include FastWriter, Copytalk, and Atom Smash 2.0. And don't forget the review of 9-Ball Pinball.

I, too, am happy that Handspring has donated the Deluxes to the Red Cross.
