Launch a Siberian Strike

Posted By: Ed on Tuesday, October 30, 2001 1:28:39 PM

LUDIgames has released Siberian Strike, a game in which the player pilots a German Luftwaffe plane in an attack on a secret Russian base during WWII. Players get to choose between different planes with different capabilities. It supports both color and grayscale screens. It is available now for $16.

Siberian Strike features seven original levels, high-speed slaloms, and five huge end-level enemy bosses. It includes bonuses, power-ups, and special effects.

It is a large file but can be run from an expansion card.

LUDIgames is becoming quite a powerhouse for Palm OS games. In just the past month or so they have released Rayman , Lock'Em Up, a 5-Pack of other games, and this one. They also have a collection of interactive stories/games as AvantGo channels.

Wow, this thing looks kind of cool

Reminds me of 1942 and 1943 on my old Nintendo.

this game is very impressive, it's one of the most fluid palm action games imho. As a die hard fan of the old 1942 series this is fun and goes above & beyond.

Has anyone successfully run the database off a memory card? I put it in the Launcher directory of my m505's MMC card, but got an error when I tried running the program. :(

there is many way to install the game on the memory card on a m505

1st (the not so friendly way):
_install the game on palm in memory
_use palm copy function, copy from palm memory to card
(the palm copy function can be found under the app menu, tapping the menu button in the graffiti zone)
_then delete the game from main memory using the palm delete function
(the palm delete function can be found under the app menu, tapping the menu button in the graffiti zone)
_the app should now appear in the card menu

2nd (our favorite way):
_use McFile a great freeware app (let's make some ad :)) that can be found here:
http://www.geocities.com/romidar/using_mcfile.htm
_using this tool just select the 2 SiberianStrike file and move them to the /PALM/Launcher directory on your card
_the app should now appear in the card menu

an updated version will be released soon allowing you to install only the datafile on the memory card (include also a full VFS support :) )
