Week in Review: Nov. 4 - Nov. 10

Posted By: Ed on Sunday, November 11, 2001 5:39:26 PM

With little doubt, the top story of last week was the resignation of Palm's CEO Carl Yankowski. In other Palm Inc. news, the company will be releasing OS 4.1 on November 15, has given PalmSource added scope, is kicking off a new ad campaign on Monday, and will be conducting seminars for educators. If that weren't enough, complaints are growing about USB problems with the m505. There was also a study out last week showing that the Palm OS still dominates worldwide PDA shipments.

In new hardware, Fossil released info on its forthcoming Wrist PDA, Rhinoskin has some new cases for the Edge, and a Bluetooth adapter for the Palm universal connector will be out soon.

There were reviews published on the Charge-N-Run, some InnoPocket m500 series products, and the Parley Dialer.
