LandWare Releases Pocket Quicken for OS 5

LandWare, Inc. has announced the release of it's financial management tool, Pocket Quicken version 2.03. With this latest release, Pocket Quicken continues its position as the most popular personal finance software available for handheld devices today.

Pocket QuickenPocket Quicken mobilizes your financial data with a press of a button enabling on-the-go access to account balances, credit limits, transaction histories, exchange rates, budgets and more. No other handheld application provides this level of connectivity to Quicken. The 2.03 update builds on the extensive enhancements introduced in v2.0 by encapsulating a number of new features and maintenance fixes including:

  • OS 5.0 compatibility
  • Tungsten T compatibility
  • Improved bitmap support for high density displays
  • Improved category matching for budget summaries
  • Macintosh error code reporting on handheld now correctly matches conduit
  • Adding an account budget sets the type (income/expense) to match the current budget view
  • Built-in calculator supports operator priority in chained calculations
  • Split transfers now correctly set the child transaction type

  • Miscellaneous small bug fixes
Pocket Quicken 2.03 for Windows and Macintosh is available now via LandWare's Web site for $39.95. Registered owners of v2.0 can update to 2.03 free of charge by going here. Pocket Quicken 2.03 is also available from LandWare as a free fully functioning 14-day trial.

Glad to hear it works.

Speaking of Palm Stock...we had a nice little rally the last week and today it took another hit...guess we'll have to wait. It will be interesting to see if the reverse split flops or not...

I must admit it does look great that Palm stock is what, $16, or $17 a share, but then I remember, Oh, I have just 5 shares now!

Please buy Palm stuff, I want my stock to go back up so I can sell it!

Buy ARM Holdings. They took another hit yesterday. Seeing as they get royalties for each chip used in both Palm (OS5) and PPC Clone devices these days, you can't lose!
