How Does This Differ from BugMe!

This doesn't seem so new or exciting to me. How does it differ from BugMe! This sounds a lot like their program.

This constitutes an improvement over BugMe, especially because bugMe Messenger hasn't been upgraded for high density resolutions on Tungsten. Plus this shape recognition technology is great. Too bad you can't add photos for annotation...

cool but disappointing

This is a neat idea, but it's lacking some pretty important features:

- a desktop component. E-mail is fine, but I see a better use for this type of technology as a digital-ink note taker. For this, it needs to have a desktop component so I can print my handwritten notes out

- speed. It lags behind my drawing on a Tungsten T, and there are numerous "please wait" messages for things like undo, and the shape recognizer. It needs to be faster.

- better hardware support. At 100% mode, you can't scroll side-to-side with the TT's navigator. An obvious missing capability.

...so it's not quite there yet, IMHO. Much better in most respects than BugMe or the built-in NotePad, but not as good as it could be.
