Investors handed dilemma

The Mercury center has an in-depth article on Palm and 3Com stock. They go over the IPO and take a look at the future prospects for both PALM and COMS. From the standpoint of most ordinary investors, however, the Palm offering has been a disaster. The first time the general public could buy a share of the stock, it cost $145. And the price has drifted sharply down ever since, closing Wednesday at $64.75.
