New Platform Game from iNDUSTRY

iNDUSTRY entertainment has released a new 2D side scrolling platform game for the Palm OS. Jack or 100 Ways to Barbecue features impressive graphics, sound and game-play.

JACK OR 100 WAYS TO BARBECUE for the Palm OS iNDUSTRY Entertainment is the same groups behind the previously released popular game titles, Sugatris and Monsta. JACK OR 100 WAYS TO BARBECUE is thier new platform game. The games combines fun, original ideas, problem solving tasks, and excellent graphics and music.

Some feature highlights include:

High quality pixel graphics in lores (160x160) and hires (320x320), color and grayscale devices supported
High quality music and sound effects
5 huge worlds with a total of 300 rooms to explore
15 tilesets with a total of 250 different tiles
15 animated enemies to fight with
5 different weapons to use and abuse and 30 items
Five way D-Pad controls supported (Zodiac, Treo 600 & Clie UX supported)

The game should run on PalmOS 3.5 devices and higher. There is a limited demo version available and the game is $14.95 USD to register a full license.

according to an email from the developer:

480x320 support for Zodiac, T|T3 and UX50/40; sampled sound; vibration for Zodiac are coming "soon".

It would be cool if they can tap into the T3 vibrator for rumble effects.

I don't remember MR despite having an Atari, but there are lots of games with a guy running around on the screen. However, this game is pretty unique... I've stayed up till 3am because I've lost track of time. Not too many games do that for me. Do NOT loan your handheld to the kids, you will not get it back without resistance! Mine have the intro story line memorized word for word. Anyone else notice that the snakes and other enemies move in time to the music?
