Wrox Wireless Developer Conference

Wrox will be holding their first Professional Wireless Developer Conference in Amsterdam this July. The event will be an innovative and informative forum for developers from all backgrounds wanting to learn the latest wireless technologies. Although aimed at professional developers, newcomers to wireless are also welcome at this unique leading-edge event.

The main conference will run from 10 - 12 July, consisting of four tracks:

•Web Content and the Wireless World
•The Disconnected Corporate User
•Programming and Application Development
•Products and Services Presentations

The tracks themselves will focus on three major platforms: Palm OS, EPOC and Win CE. Featured technologies include WAP, WML/WMLScript, API/ GUI, Bluetooth, Java/Java 2 Micro Edition, KVM, Webclipping, XML and C/C++ for mobile operating systems. Hi,

In a true slashdot style you are going to get flamed
for not taking enough care over your posts!

Althougth the article above actually has some usful
info for palm users it is clearly a press release.
I doubt even if it has been edited at all. This shows
signs of laziness on the editors and will discourage
readers.

My point being that there are far too many press release
sites that add ZERO value to a subject area. Your site
will suffer if it is seen as just a corparate mouthpiece
without any opinion or original content.

Please, try to limit such posts.
