Pre Plus Takes Top Smartphone Honors from Laptop Mag
Contrary to the latest market share research, Palm's Pre Plus is still a very popular device, at least in the eyes of Laptop Magazine readers. In fact, it's still sitting on the very top of the smartphone food chain according to Laptop's latest online poll.
Having just completed an extensive shootout of nearly every major Android-based phone across all domestic carriers, Laptop Mag awarded the HTC Incredible on Verizon its top honors, beating out Sprint's new WiMax-equipped Evo and Google's very own Nexus One. The HTC Incredible, however, has just been bested by the Palm Pre Plus (presumably the Verizon version) in a new poll on Laptop Mag's blog.
Whether it's due to the easy availability of the Pre Plus versus the still-backordered Incredible, reader preference of WebOS over Android, or simply the Pre's physical keyboard and Verizon's free wi-fi hotspot feature, the Pre Plus garnered a convincing 57.71% of the 60,169 votes. Basking in the success of a Laptop Mag poll is nothing new for Palm; the Verizon Pre Plus also beat the Motorola Droid in a similar "March Madness" showdown back in March.

That being said, I just finished running a robot directly from my Pre + to that website clicking the "Pre vote button" at full speed with the new 1.05mhz kernal.
We won!!! But my case just melted.

I wish the hell it was Sprint, after the way Gekko has pimped that carrier.
How many of you have been or still are on T-Mobile and can testify about its service and pricing?

It's rigged
As much as I like the Pre, this vote was rigged. I voted about a dozen times myself. When I voted the Pre was behind by about 8 per cent. OK I prepared lets hear it.
Have a nice day!
