News.com has some details on a new wireless device expected to be revealed by Research in Motion, makers of the BlackBerry email device. The unit is said to combines wireless email and web browsing with Palm-like organizer functions. "Although RIM has an established base of customers, the company may find difficulty attracting developers to create applications for the device. Palm credits much of its success to its loyal core of developers... " said Gartner Group analyst Ken Dulaney.
