Gx5 Releases Ringtone Shuffler for Palm OS

Posted By: Ryan Kairer on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 10:34:24 AM

Ringtone ShufflerGx5 Software has released a new utility for the Centro and Palm OS Treos. Ringtone Shuffler does exactly what you would think and does it well. The program will let you choose a list of custom or built in ringtones to shuffle each time a call comes in. Gx5 lays out a few usage examples: Imagine a scenario where you have created 3 ringtones from one song; that is the first verse, second verse and the chorus. Now you can select those 3 and enjoy them all. In another scenario, let's say you have about 20 ringtones and 5 of them are from one or a few artists you are really feeling. Now you can just select those 5 as the ones to shuffle.

Ringtone Shuffler v1.01 for Palm OS is available now. It comes with a free trial period and requires 100kb of free space. It costs $7.95 and is currently on sale for $3.95 for a limited time.

 Ringtones have a function

The purpose of a ringtone is to get you to answer the darn phone, not enjoy it as the article suggests! Why you need variability for that, I'm not sure.
