The Kodak PalmPix , a clip-on digital camera, is now available for $179. Kodak is apparently expecting demand to exceed supply because they are limiting one per customer. It is compatible with the Palm III, IIIc, IIIe, IIIx, IIIxe, and VII, IBM Workpad, and TRGpro. It is also compatible with Palm V and Vx models with an adapter.

What *I'm* waiting for is an IR conduit that let's me transfer images from my Kodak DC210+ (with IR) to my PalmV. I just want to make use of all this IR stuff I have. :-)
I agree, rather than buying a palm camera lacking some features, id rather have one of those £99 ones. Or spend the extra on a high quality sony ones if i were a serious photographer.
they must be crazy if they think
people is qoing to pay $ 195 for b/w " "THUMBNAILS" when they can get "color "640 * 480 for the same ammount of money and 4 extra megs of RAM

When they saw they couldn't get near the $95 price point, Kodak shoulda canned the project, or marketed it to specific industrial uses. It's going to be a dud with the general public.
