Record Video with Live! for Treo 650

Posted By: Ryan on Monday, May 02, 2005 11:40:54 AM

Danny writes, Live! is specifically designed for the Treo 650 to take motion videos with and without sound. Recorded video can be saved and play back later. After the video is saved you can export the video to individual JPG or BMP files or MJPG AVI format to the external card.

You can also use a desktop application like Microsoft Movie Maker to make the movie with fancy transitions, mixing and sounds. Recorded video can be used as Video CallerID with Lightwav on the Treo600 and Treo650. Quality of recording is better than the Treo camcorder.

Why would the Treo 650 need this?

You can record video on the Treo with the software included, and it includes sound!

This is cah cah

Live! is useful for taking multiple pictures very quickly. you can then export it individual frames. the other nice feature is the ability to use Live! videos as video callerID with Lightwav ringtone manager which no other application can do except Ligthwav. That is one of the cool feature on the Treo.

The first commenter should not have called this cah-cah before trying it out. This product offers HI-RESOLUTION video - not the crappy (yet still handy) video that you get on the internal 3gp system on the treo (must be stringing together a bunch of still images into a fluid video). It was acting kind of buggy when I tried it out but the potential is great!

It's interesting that the first poster is more interested in sounding superior than actually being curious enough to check out the product.
