Handspring has announced that English and German versions of the Visor are now available in Europe at retail outlets. Prices start at £99, 344DM and €175. European retailers will carry Springboard modules as they become available.

Ya, what is going on at Handspring? I've been waiting since the Visor was announced last year to get my hands on one. Now they're going to Europe and skipping Canada? Where's the logic in that? We're just a few hours away (by plane, of course) from their Head Office and we can't get one?! Fogudaboutit... I'm buying a Palm Vx cause I can't wait any longer. We always have to wait for products up here, but this is ridiculous.

The dutch company which is maintaining the website uses such a poor German that I wonder if someone in Germany who doesn't know the product understands all the Babelfish-like translations... ;-)
Does anybody know which version of Palm OS the localized Visor uses?
