Non-lifedrives as well..

iPodder can be told to drop files into a specific directory; you can specify the 'install' directory in your hotsync account, and then a hotsync will 'install' the files. Use one of the dozens of freeware tools to tell the handheld that certain file extensions go to the right place on SD card and voila... iPodder -> SD card via hotsync. (It works, I was doing it with my T|T3 and Treo 650..)

(Now, I know, everyone will want a tutorial ;)

Completely off topic:

Skeezix, the v4.1.2 beta of ShadowPlan works great. (It was a shocked when I discovered that I couldn't switch off the graphical button bar, but it's growing on me!). Keep up the great work.

Although I do some Mac development, I barely have time to "use" a Mac... but last I heard, iTunes can suck down podcasts and put them somewhere (or you could use a symlink to trick it into putting them somewhere.) Just direct that to your Palm Users "files to install" directory it'd likely work with the same old VFS directory trick..

i followed the instructions and now automaticly download several blogs i had been taking from ipod, then copying to my lifedrive.
congratulations to ipodder and the TCPMP player developer (though I do not have any divx to try).
My goal is to be able to play divx on the lefedrive without conversion....
