Palm Releases Update for the Sprint Treo 650

Palm has released a small update for the Sprint PCS Treo 650 smartphone. The version 1.13 updater includes the E911 update and improves memory handling.

New with version 1.13:

  • Integrates the Treo 650 E911 Updater to improve the ability of emergency response personnel to locate users who dial 911 from the Treo 650 smartphone
  • Improves memory handling when using background applications such as GoodLink
  • Includes previously released updates

As with all ROM updates make sure you backup your device and follow the instructions on Palm's website.

I've been getting phone lockups when people call (ringer loops) and the versamail resets are annoying. Lets hope this clears this up!

Versamail resets? I don't think I would hold my breath for that. Hopefully I'm wrong.
