 Interesting and ironic...

It's interesting AND ironic how a discussion of a four year old Google Video talk with staff of the now-defunct Handspring generates so much good dialogue, debate, and controversyon PIC. Certainly more so than any of these webcasts are likely to bring. It just goes to show how product-starved the POS affecionados are nowadays! More sites are now starting to report on the dearth of any new Treos until July. If that is indeed the case then Palm had better contact overstock.com about liquidating the company's entire inventory.

Those are going to be five verrrry long (yet active for the competition) months when Palm's got nothing to flog but an obsolete two-year old smartphone and a single buggy new model running on a competitor's OS and available on ONE carrier. At least let's have some lukewarm PDA refreshes like a T|E3 and an LD2!

HKK,

The buzz about the past vid-cast vs the new pod-cast is more along the following line I think. Corporate leaders are a lot more interesting to hear talk about the past than they are the future. Whebn they talk about "distant" history, the tell the truth. When they talk about the future, it's always a snow-job with smoke & mirrors. Unless, I've got ca$h riding on it, it's not worth a whole lot.

I'll let somebody else gleen thru the same ole song and dance, to see if a product hint slips out. Otherwise, just rewind the last 15 forward-looking interviews.

It's already out. :-D
