Duke Nukem 3D Palm OS Port

MetaViewSoft has been working on a freeware port of Duke Nukem 3D for Palm OS. If you have the original game, you can get your classic Duke 3D action on with your PDA or smartphone.

Duke 3D is the Palm OS port of Duke Nukem 3D. The game was originally released for MS-DOS and desktop computers in early 1996. This port is based on the work of JonoF, who ported Duke 3D to windows (and has a video of Duke 3D running on a Tungsten T).

You will need to have copies of the original game files, even the demo version will work, stored on a memory card for the game to operate. Original game mod files are also supported.

Duke 3D requires Palm OS 5 or higher. Like most memory intensive games, the more dynamic memory you have available, the better. The developer also warns to use at your own risk, as crashes may occur. It supports a few different resolutions and is optimized for the Tapwave Zodiac.

MetaViewSoft has also contributed to, Quake, Doom and Hexen ports for Palm OS as well.
