Yeah, I agree. Looks like the 700p may be a sign of what's to come, b/c it's strange that only a few would get that nice liquid treatment w/out a bigger future.
GUI is badly outdated in FrankenGarnet, but Palm and it's mystery OS roadmap have such huge questions to answer that this seems trivial in comparison. I use CallRec to record memos and calls on my 650, and it works great and stable. This seems to offer a few more transfer features and the nice UI for a few more $$$.
Going back to my first Palm device; a Handspring Visor Deluxe with the voice recorder/mp3 springboard, I've always found having the ability to record my thoughts, especially when I'm behind the wheel, with the single push of a button has been one of the most valuable features of all my PDA's. On my current Treo 650, I've remapped the mail hard key to mVoice, allowing me to hold the button down and begin recording, even with the keyguard activated (unlike the side key, which requires me to perform two additional key presses).
One question: I currently am using version 4.5.4. Aside from the programs new "look", what new features does version 5 have or what upgades have been made? I've downloaded a trial of v.5 and haven't noticed what's new (besides the new user interface which, admittedly, is a big improvement). Thanks for your feedback. Neil

Look at mVoice 5...it shines comparing to the average Palm software graphic interfaces...look at the phone application...it looks so bad. About software...it is up to the developer, but about Palm OS...come on, netx Palm 750 cannot keep showing such a old fashion phone interface. On the 700p some applications were graphically updated but not the OS...is it that hard? My Palm 650 looks a little better with Facer Launcher...but I want next Palm 750p to look grat by itself.
Is someone sharing my feelings?
