Pat; It installed right over 3.0 for me with no issues at all. I just finished a comprehensive review of both CallRec 3.1 and mVoice 5.0. Stay tuned to PIC to find out which app emerges the victor! At any rate, 3.1 is a very nice improvement to CallRec. The larger onscreen buttons mean that I can finally use my fat thumbs and index finger to control CallRec! I'd still like to see some color or shape variations between the onscreen buttons, however. I love using this app to "capture" phone numbers and addresses while I am driving. That is not only a productivity increaser but a safety increaser as well! RE: Super app.
HKK,
I agree about the collor scheme. It's not ugly or anything, but viewability and contrast of the buttons could use some tweaking. mVoice looks more attractive from a UI perspective. Otherwise, I'm very happy with CallRec. A little suggestion. It would be nice to have some sort of utility or limitation imposed to delete or disallow 1 or 2 second recordings. I use the record button to access the app from anywhere instantly, but that causes the recorder to auto begin. I would love a toglle setting that would offer not saving the recording if < a predefined time. This would keep me from having to delete all the little 1-2 second clips. That's a whiney request I know, but since the upgrades are comin' ...

This is an app that actually works to increase productivity. Highly recommended.
Now, let's see if I can get the 3.1 upgrade free?
