700p in Mexico = No Treo 755p in US soon?

palmstory @ 3/15/2007 2:41:31 AM # Q
With 700p is in Mexico, it doesn't look like Treo 755p will show up in US soon, or am I wrong?!?!?

Also, if you are on 700P and Mac, please contribute to this Discussion:

I know it's slightly off topic, but I still think it has a lot to do with the overall State of Palm...

I am concerned that Palm Stock will DROP BIG when iPhone is out, and Palm will be aquired... That won't help State of Palm much, and will probably slow down Palm OS part of Palm, making it mostly Windows Mobile Company, with a prettier Interface, courtesy of the ex-Apple guy they just hired...

Palm has to license Missing Sync, for starters, instead of their ANCIENT HotSync!

Palms ace, as of now, is Dial Up Networking, DUN. iPhone doesn't have/need it.. If Palm does make DUN ROCK SOLID, we'll have our laptops online as part of our wireless service, particularly if VZ drops the Pricing Plans for that...

Treo 755p needs WiFi and BADLY, with Skype preinstalled... Hey, whatever it takes to compete with iPhone... Otherwise, Palm is OVER even quicker!

These is what comes to mind! Can't wait to hear other opinions! TIA!!!

Treo 700P = lame, needs upgrade patch ASAP!!! Needs Manual Valume Control on Camcorder Recordings, which suck in low light!

Verizon, DUN (Dialup Networking = highly unstable

Palm Desktop = End Of Life = Deathrow!

Mac OS 10.4.9 = ROCKS!

Hope iPhone will ROCK too, then Farwell Palm!!!

"or am I wrong?!?!?"

Yes. Mexico and other small markets are always way behind the curve on new productt releases. Especially with a company that acts as slowly as Palm.
